American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic position requiring a minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience, with first-time travelers welcome.

Outpatient clinic setting focused on orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation
-
Patient population includes orthopedic conditions such as low back pain, cervicalgia, DDD, DJD, hip fractures, total hip and knee replacements, post-op shoulder and spinal surgeries, frozen shoulder, ankle sprains, and gait impairments

Neurologic patient population includes post-stroke rehabilitation
-
Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Epic EMR preferred
-
13-week contract
-
Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required

BLS certification preferred
-
Strong assessment and clinical evaluation skills required
-
Proficiency with standard PT modalities including e-stim, TENS, ultrasound, moist heat, cervical and lumbar traction preferred

Experience with gait training, extremity mobilization, therapeutic exercise (AROM/AAROM/PROM), and assistive/adaptive devices

Epic EMR experience preferred

License required if applicable

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Former employees of any Guthrie facility must have been separated for a minimum of one year before being eligible to return as a traveler

Approximately 4 hours of non-billable online modules required prior to start

Responsibilities include evaluation, plan of care development, short- and long-term goal setting, reassessments, discharge planning, and patient/family education

Additional specialty areas include sports medicine and work conditioning preferred
