Resident Assistant
Duties:
- Provide direct support to residents in a home care setting
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the supervisor
- Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals in a home care or residential setting
- Knowledge of systems and procedures related to direct support services
- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices is a plus
