Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Executive Director to join our dedicated team. In this vital leadership role, you will support the overall management and operational excellence of our long-term care facility, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, high-quality resident care. Your expertise in nursing home administration, senior care, and regulatory compliance will drive the success of our facility, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for residents with diverse needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Duties
- Assist the Executive Director in overseeing daily operations of the care facility, ensuring compliance with long-term care regulations and health policies
- Supervise and support care teams, including nursing staff, social workers, and administrative personnel, promoting teamwork and professional development
- Coordinate resident care plans with nursing leadership to meet individual needs related to dementia, memory care, and assisted living services
- Ensure medication administration protocols are followed accurately and safely across all resident populations
- Manage financials including budgeting, rent collection, daily deposits and accounts payable/vendor management.
- Play a critical role in maintaining high occupancy by giving tours, assisting with new move in paperwork coordination and other duties as assigned.
- Maintains a very high level of customer satisfaction by responding to resident and family concerns quickly and effectively.
- Communicates with staff on a daily basis to ensure an efficient, teamwork centered operation.
- Maintain thorough documentation using Microsoft Office tools for reports, resident records, and compliance audits
- Willingness to earn administrator's license in the state of CA.
Experience
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations, health policy compliance, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care practices
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in healthcare or residential care settings
- Strong background in healthcare financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight
- Familiarity with home & community care services as well as residential care home environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes
- Previous leadership roles in assisted living or retirement home settings are a plus

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
