Put your training to work in a veterinary hospital setting that goes above and beyond for every patient. Credentialed veterinary technicians (RVTs, CVTs, and LVTs) are the backbone of our clinical team and hospital.
Veterinary technicians perform valuable medical and nonmedical services in clinical practice. They may be graduates of a veterinary technology program accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities, and they usually hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
What You'll Do
- Assist with surgical procedures and monitor anesthesia
- Collect and analyze laboratory samples and diagnostic data
- Operate and interpret diagnostic imaging equipment
- Administer treatments and provide nursing care for patients
- Educate clients on home care, medications, and follow-up
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology
- RVT, CVT, or LVT credential (or eligible to sit for the VTNE)
- Strong science background with excellent clinical instincts
- Passion for animals and skill at building client trust
