We are seeking a compassionate, motivated person with at least a Certified Peer Advocate to join our team and support individuals on their recovery journey. The Certified Peer Advocate will use lived experience and peer-based support to empower clients in achieving and maintaining recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges.
This is a 35 hour per week position.
Preferred Candidates: Preference given to Youth and Family Peer certifications. High School Graduate/Equivalency. An individual does not need to be in recovery him/herself, but must be able to confer empathy through lived experiences. One year of Health or Human Service experience preferred. Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License and pass background clearance for use of agency vehicles.
