As we continue to grow throughout Nassau County, we're looking for a dependable, bilingual Overnight Operations Manager to lead our overnight cleaning teams, ensure operational excellence, and provide outstanding customer service.
Position Summary
The Overnight Operations Manager oversees nightly cleaning operations across multiple restaurant locations. This role is responsible for supervising field employees, maintaining quality standards, resolving issues, supporting customers, and ensuring all locations are serviced according to company expectations.
This is a hands-on leadership position that requires occasional participation in cleaning duties when needed.
ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and motivate overnight cleaning crews.
- Train, onboard, and mentor new employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and productivity.
- Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and professional work environment.
Operations & Quality Control
- Visit multiple customer locations throughout each shift.
- Perform inspections to ensure cleaning meets company quality standards.
- Address service concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide support to crews as needed to maintain service excellence.
- Complete nightly reports and communicate operational updates to management.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce company safety policies
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report accidents, safety concerns, and equipment issues immediately.
- Maintain compliance with all company standards and procedures.
Inventory & Equipment
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
- Request replacement supplies before stock runs low.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and operating properly.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and workforce planning as needed.
Customer Relations & Business Support
Occasionally assist with business development by:
- Participating in walkthroughs with prospective clients.
- Assisting with site evaluations.
- Building positive relationships with customers.
Training will be provided before participating in sales or business development activities.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facilities maintenance
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable with using mobile applications.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel between multiple customer locations throughout the shift.
- Willingness to perform cleaning duties when operational needs require.
Physical Requirements
Applicants must be able to:
- Walk and stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, kneel, squat, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
- Perform cleaning tasks when necessary.
- Travel between multiple work sites during overnight shifts.
