Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Private Club Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance of our exclusive club facilities. In this role, you will ensure that all areas are spotless, welcoming, and adhere to the highest standards of sanitation. Your dedication will help create a pristine environment that enhances our members’ experience and reflects the club’s commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all club areas, including lounges, dining porch, locker rooms, and private spaces
- Conduct residential cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Manage laundry duties for linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles with care and efficiency
- Dust, sweep, and maintain cleanliness on deck areas around the club, as well as member locker rooms
- Wipe and sanitize locker room showers and bathrooms
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, mopping, and appropriate use of cleaning equipment
- Ensure sanitation protocols are followed during cleaning routines to uphold health standards
- Handle janitorial responsibilities including waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and organizing storage areas
- Assist with custodial tasks related to event setups or special functions as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within private clubs, hotels, or commercial settings, preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning and floor care methods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform residential cleaning with attention to detail and efficiency
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and janitorial equipment operation
- Experience managing laundry operations for linens and uniforms
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Reliable transportation and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
