Job Responsibilities
As a Front End Supervisor, you will…
- Manage the Front of House staff appropriately; ensure tasks are completed in order of priority and in a timely fashion.
- Maintain, or ensure maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
- Ensure company policies and standards are being upheld at all times.
- Ensure shelves are stocked appropriately and products are put out in their correct spots. Ensure items are tagged or priced before being put out.
- Receive deliveries; ensure temperature safety of products being delivered and are being upheld whilst stocking.
- Enter new items into the POS system accurately.
- Ensure accuracy of signs and pricing.
- Maintain high-levels of professional communication between FOH and BOH staff and management when applicable.
- Assist in the training of new employees.
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
- Expected to work one weekend day each week.
- Perform cash handling duties appropriately such as making change, doing a bank-run, and preparing the nightly deposit.
- Operate the cash register and bag groceries as needed
- Arrive to workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service, address the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques; answer phones and pages promptly and courteously.
- Makes the store a welcome place for customers and staff alike.
- Performs other duties as assigned by other management or ownership.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
