About Us
We are a commercial real estate company seeking an energetic, dependable, and motivated Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to assist with the upkeep of our commercial properties. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining properties, and is willing to help with a variety of maintenance and landscaping tasks.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will perform general property maintenance, repairs, and occasional landscaping work. We are looking for a flexible individual who can work independently, identify issues proactively, and help keep our properties in excellent condition.
Responsibilities
· Perform general handyman repairs and maintenance
· Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs
· Property inspections and preventative maintenance
· Repair doors, locks, gates, fences, and other building components
· Coordinate and complete maintenance work orders
· Assist with occasional landscaping duties, including:
o Weed removal
o Irrigation repairs
o Tree and shrub trimming
o General property cleanup
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Communicate maintenance needs and project updates to management
Qualifications
· Previous handyman, maintenance, construction, or landscaping experience preferred
· Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and repair work
· Ability to operate maintenance and landscaping equipment safely
· Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
· Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work outdoors
· Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and positive attitude
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Compensation
· $275 per day
· Part-time schedule of 3 days per week to start
· After a successful 3–6 month probationary period, full-time employment may be offered based on performance and business needs
