Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Finish drywall surfaces by applying mudding, taping, texturing, and sanding to achieve a flawless finish.
- Repair damaged drywall and perform patching work efficiently and accurately.
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and finishing.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for drywall installation, texturing, and repair tasks.
- Assist with framing, metal stud framing, and installing fixtures such as doors and trim carpentry components.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols diligently.
- Collaborate with team members on construction plans, schematics, and project timelines to meet deadlines effectively.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on drywall finishing or related trades such as plastering or carpentry.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with drywall taping, mudding, texturing, and repair techniques.
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols.
- Experience working on diverse projects such as remodeling, restoration industry jobs, or water damage restoration is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Prior experience in the use of schematics, fixture installation, flooring installation, tile laying or related trades is advantageous.
