Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgery/OR position in Elgin, IL, requiring a minimum of 1 year of surgical nursing experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
On-call required on a rotating basis, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
13-week contract

Requirements

Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
Minimum 1 year of surgical nursing experience required
Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
DOB and SSN required for consideration
Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC resource

Additional Information

Experience with the facility's designated EMR system is required — candidates without relevant EMR experience will not be considered
Local candidates are accepted for this position
