About the Role:

Courtyard Adult Day Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable Driver / Activity Assistant to join our team Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities Include:
- Safely transporting participants to and from the center
- Assisting participants on and off the vehicle
- Providing exceptional customer service to participants and families
- Assisting with engaging activities, games, crafts, music, and special events
- Supporting participants with encouragement and social interaction throughout the day
- Working collaboratively with our nursing and activities team to create a welcoming, person-centered environment
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Kind, patient, and compassionate
- Reliable with excellent attendance
- Comfortable working with older adults, including individuals living with dementia
- Energetic, positive, and enjoys engaging with people
- Able to lift, assist, and remain active throughout the day
- A team player with strong communication skills
Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass required background checks and pre-employment screenings
- Experience working with older adults is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person!
Schedule:
Part-Time
Tuesdays & Thursdays
Daytime hours (approximately 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
