We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to determine individual needs.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and botulinum toxin treatments, following strict aseptic techniques.
- Assist with complex procedures such as catheterization, suturing, tube feeding, and ventilator management in various settings like ICU, PICU, or surgical units.
- Manage patient documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate care plans through case management activities, discharge planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in acute care or long-term care environments.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, or those requiring hospice & palliative medicine services.
- Support emergency response efforts by triaging patients in urgent care or emergency room settings and participating in trauma medicine at Level I or Level II trauma centers.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) with current certification to practice in your state.
- Proven experience in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and diagnostic evaluation procedures.
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with laboratory procedures and specimen processing is a plus.
- Critical care experience including ICU or emergency medicine is highly desirable; experience working within trauma centers is preferred.
- Ability to perform complex clinical tasks such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, sterile processing, and infection control practices confidently.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration; comfort working with children and seniors is advantageous. Pay: $34.94 - $42.08 per hour
