Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation services with passion, expertise, and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive rehabilitation programs that enhance patient recovery and quality of life.
Salary $120k-$150K
Duties
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all rehabilitation services across the facility to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Supervise and mentor rehabilitation team members, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, fostering professional growth and teamwork
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements to maintain high-quality care
Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management to maximize efficiency while maintaining personalized patient attention
Collaborate with medical staff to create individualized treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs
Monitor clinical outcomes, analyze performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to elevate service quality
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
Qualifications
Proven experience in leading rehabilitation or therapy departments within healthcare settings
Strong knowledge of current rehabilitation techniques, evidence-based practices, and regulatory standards (e.g., JCAHO or state licensing boards)
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families, and external partners
Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology; master’s degree preferred
Valid licensure or certification in relevant therapy disciplines required
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
