We are seeing an energetic and visionary Communications Director to lead our growing church’s strategic communications efforts. This pivotal role involves crafting compelling messaging, managing print, video, and social media relations as you elevate our public profile through innovative storytelling and outreach. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for clear, impactful communication and a knack for building relationships with diverse audiences across various platforms both within the congregation and community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the church’s goals and values.
- Manage all communication channels that include websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, Facebook, podcasts, and live stream.
- Manage media relations by cultivating relationships with community and church members.
- Oversee proofreading, editing, and quality control for all outgoing communications to maintain accuracy, brand, and content.
- Collaboration with leadership teams and staff to support goals and convey their messages.
- Analyze engagement metrics to improve outreach and impact.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in social media management tools and digital marketing platforms.
- Outstanding communications skills – both written and verbal.
- Creative skills that include proficiency in design tools, social media platforms, email marketing software, and content management systems.
- Strong organizational skills that enable multiple projects to be managed simultaneously and ability to meet deadlines.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Skills in using technological live streaming and recording platforms, preferred.
