Job Summary
The Cleaner/Punch Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and readiness of our apartment community. This position is responsible for ensuring all common areas remain clean, welcoming, and resident-ready while also assisting the maintenance team with apartment unit turns, punch work, and light maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across various areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces, utilizing appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Conduct window cleaning using specialized tools to ensure streak-free clarity and optimal visibility.
- Operate pressure washers and other machinery safely to maintain exterior surfaces and prevent buildup of dirt or grime.
- Handle laundry services as needed, ensuring linens and uniforms are properly cleaned, folded, and stored.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely during the movement of cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment in accordance with manual handling guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and infection control by following established protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with punch list duties by inspecting facilities for maintenance issues, documenting repairs needed, and supporting minor repair tasks when applicable.
- Support custodial operations by managing cleaning equipment, replenishing supplies, and ensuring all tools are in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests or concerns from staff or visitors regarding cleanliness or maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, chemical handling, sanitation procedures, and infection control practices.
- Experience with window cleaning, pressure washing, and the use of various cleaning equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and the operation of cleaning machinery.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach to customer service.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and perform routine maintenance inspections as needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
