Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Analyst to join our innovative IT team. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle HCM solutions to streamline human resources processes and enhance enterprise workforce management. Duties
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, and Workforce Management to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solution architecture that aligns with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data migration and integration between Oracle HCM and other enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, or custom applications.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support for Oracle HCM applications, resolving issues related to system performance, data discrepancies, or integration failures.
- Implement system enhancements through software updates, configuration management, version control, and continuous integration practices.
- Conduct system architecture reviews focusing on security (including cloud security), load balancing, system hardening, and vulnerability assessments to ensure robust IT infrastructure.
- Support application development efforts utilizing APIs (RESTful API), web services, JavaScript, PL/SQL, and other programming languages to extend system functionality.
- Assist in managing IT infrastructure components such as operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization platforms (VMware/ESXi), cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and networking protocols including VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP.
- Contribute to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) activities by participating in agile sprints using tools like Jenkins or Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with information security standards by implementing threat intelligence measures, vulnerability management strategies, and system hardening techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Oracle Human Capital Management solutions or similar enterprise HRIS platforms.
- Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture design principles, and enterprise solutions implementation.
- Proficiency in SQL (including T-SQL), PL/SQL, MySQL/PostgreSQL databases; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with application development using languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python or Ruby on Rails; familiarity with RESTful APIs and SOAP web services is essential.
- Knowledge of system administration tasks across Windows and Linux operating systems; experience with virtualization (VMware/ESXi) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools; experience with Git for version control.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components such as load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, GPOs (Group Policy Objects), DHCP configurations.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues rapidly while maintaining a service-oriented approach; excellent problem-solving skills are required.
- Certifications related to Oracle HCM modules or IT infrastructure (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous but not mandatory.
