Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will implement individualized care plans and work closely with children and their families to promote positive outcomes. Responsibilities
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions to improve social, communication, and daily living skills for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in care and maximize therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in ongoing training related to behavior management, special education practices, medical terminology, and behavioral health best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children diagnosed with Autism or other developmental disabilities using behavioral therapy techniques.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and data collection methods.
- Experience assisting clients with ADLs and implementing individualized care plans within a clinical or educational setting.
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health services.
- Prior experience in special education or teaching roles that involve behavior intervention is highly desirable.
- Ability to work patiently and effectively with diverse populations while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
