A well-established real estate and construction company is seeking a licensed plumber.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in multifamily and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure system longevity and efficiency
- Use hand tools, pipe threading machines, and other equipment to complete projects
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and regulations
Prerequisites:
- Valid state plumbing license (or equivalent certification)
- Proven experience as a journeyperson plumber
- Proficiency with hand tools and specialized plumbing equipment
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to obtain necessary permits
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and basic understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support across functions
