Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead the Back of House operations for our new P.F. Chang’s at DFW Airport. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, and efficiency in a high-volume, fast-paced airport environment. You will build and develop a strong kitchen team while maintaining strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, plating, and presentation.
- Maintain P.F. Chang’s high standards for taste, freshness, and consistency of all menu items.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop a high-performing kitchen team (BOH staff and Sous Chefs).
- Manage food costs, inventory, waste, and ordering to achieve targeted food cost percentages.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and all airport health regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Front of House team to deliver seamless guest service and timely ticket times.
- Execute successful kitchen setup and operations for the grand opening.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and cleanliness (including wok stations and high-volume equipment).
- Foster a positive, safe, and efficient kitchen culture aligned with our values.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of Restaurant Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant (casual dining preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine, wok cooking, and made-from-scratch preparation is highly desired.
- Proven ability to manage food costs, labor, and inventory in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended airport shifts.
- ServSafe Manager certification (or ability to obtain immediately).
- Must be able to pass all required airport background checks and badging process.
- Physically able to work on your feet for extended periods in a hot kitchen environment.
- Must be availible for 6-8 weeks of training at a Dallas-area PF Changs training restaurant in June.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
