Our Law Firm practices multi-state litigation and works with a particularly high volume of case files. As a Legal Office Personnel Manager within our Firm, the selected candidate would join our management team overseeing a multi-disciplinary team of approximately 55 Paralegals, Legal Assistants, and Office Assistants working out of our office in downtown Milwaukee.
The Legal Office Personnel Manager would report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with the Department Trainer, Policy and Procedure Specialist and Department Supervisors to structure and staff the Department appropriately. (Note that the team will not include attorneys, so a JD is not required, and the Manager will not practice as an attorney.)
As a multi-state Firm, experience with one or more legal systems in the Midwest would be preferred but not required. Particular experience in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, or Iowa should be noted on your resume/cover letter and may be considered regarding compensation. We will always train the right candidate, so those without prior law firm experience are encouraged to apply.
The Legal Office Personnel Manager has a large amount of autonomy to shape the processes, procedures, and structure of the team.
