Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented White Glove / In-Home Delivery Helper to join our team. This role involves delivering high-value or delicate items directly to customers’ homes, ensuring exceptional service and careful handling throughout the process. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to manage physical tasks associated with heavy lifting and moving. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Safely load, unload, and transport items
- Assist delivery driver with delivery of products to customers’ homes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product placement and potentially assembly and answering questions about their delivery
- Ensure all deliveries are completed according to company standards, maintaining professionalism at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, including box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmissions
- Follow safety protocols related to warehouse operations, including proper use of equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks
Skills
- Proven experience in delivery operations, courier services, or warehouse operations involving heavy lifting and moving
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, moving furniture or appliances, and prolonged periods of standing or walking during deliveries
- This position requires a dedicated individual capable of managing physical tasks while providing outstanding customer service. Candidates should be committed to safety, punctuality, and delivering a positive experience for our clients.
