We are seeking an experienced and motivated Road Service Forklift Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in the field.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electric, propane, and diesel forklifts at customer sites
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Complete service reports and document repairs accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues and repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a forklift mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, diesel technician, automotive or similar field
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- OEM forklift experience preferred but not required

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
