Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency with every order
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and provide friendly service that encourages repeat visits
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to meet food safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly
- Assist with food safety management by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a tidy environment for both guests and staff
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments with a focus on efficiency and quality
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and managing customer orders
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly while maintaining accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and create a positive dining experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
