Through Liberty Tax School, you'll receive comprehensive training from experienced instructors and gain the knowledge needed to prepare tax returns with confidence. Tax School Overview
Our 10-week Tax School will cover topics including:
- Filing statuses and dependents
- Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Credit
- Small business income and expenses
- Tax deductions and credits
- Federal tax laws and regulations
- Tax return preparation techniques
Our knowledgeable instructors make learning engaging, practical, and easy to understand.
Class Schedule
Classes will be held on Saturdays and are available at two convenient locations:
- Hatboro Location: Morning classes
- Pottstown Location: Afternoon classes for students who live closer to the western Montgomery County and Pottstown areas
Tuition
The cost of Tax School is $199.
Students who successfully complete the course, become certified, are hired by Liberty Tax, and remain employed through the end of the tax season on April 15, 2027, will receive a full refund of their tuition fee.

Upon successful completion of Tax School and certification, qualified candidates may be offered Tax Preparer positions at one of our four office locations:

Qualifications
