Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Handle food preparation tasks including assembling pastries, and light snacks according to safety standards
- Operate POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and sanitation procedures
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
