Duties
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival, listen actively to understand their vehicle concerns, and provide expert guidance on recommended services.
- Explain repair procedures and estimates clearly, ensuring customers are well-informed about their options.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, schedule appointments, and communicate updates to customers throughout the service process.
- Manage service orders accurately, documenting customer information, vehicle details, and service history meticulously.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional questions or concerns.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of current automotive technologies, service promotions, and manufacturer guidelines to provide accurate advice.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm in every customer interaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive service advising or a related customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in an understandable manner.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures; familiarity with dealership or independent shop operations is a plus.
- Proficiency with computer systems for scheduling, estimating, and record keeping; experience with automotive management software is advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
