Position Summary
As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical in-home support services that help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Services may include personal care assistance, companionship, meal preparation, transportation, and light housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Provide companionship and social engagement
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the office
- Support clients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate documentation as required
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with Indiana regulations
- Ability to provide documentation establishing identity and authorization to work in the United States
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, professional, and compassionate demeanor
Additional Requirements
- Attendance at an in-person orientation in Evansville, Indiana
- TB test required (available through our office if needed)
- Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and daily activities
Schedule
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
- Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts may be available
- Flexible scheduling based on client needs and caregiver availability
