We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Resident Wellness Director (Director of Nursing) to join our leadership team.

Position Responsibilities
As the Resident Wellness Director, you will oversee the overall health and wellness of our residents while leading the clinical team to deliver exceptional care.
Resident Care & Clinical Oversight
- Develop, implement, and maintain individualized resident Service Plans.
- Monitor resident health and wellness while ensuring quality care.
- Coordinate healthcare services with physicians, families, pharmacies, and outside providers.
- Conduct resident assessments and facilitate wellness visits and service plan updates.
- Oversee medication management and incontinence programs.
- Ensure infection prevention, emergency response readiness, and first aid procedures.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead new hire orientation and ongoing clinical education.
- Train, mentor, and coach nursing staff to promote professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations and recognize team accomplishments.
- Lead daily clinical meetings and provide continuous staff support.
- Foster a collaborative, resident-centered culture focused on excellence.
Communication & Family Support
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families.
- Provide guidance and support during resident transitions.
- Maintain effective communication with physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare partners.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain OSHA compliance and infection control standards.
- Review incident reports and implement corrective action when necessary.
- Partner with pharmacy consultants and leadership to maintain quality clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of two years of leadership experience in long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare management.
- Strong knowledge of clinical operations and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing budgets and departmental resources.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for developing teams and delivering exceptional resident care.
