About the Role:
V2 Capital Shelton LLC Hotel Group is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join our team in Shelton, CT. Responsibilities:
- Perform nightly audit of hotel financial transactions, including room charges, tax postings, and daily revenue reconciliation
- Balance and verify front desk accounts, cash drawers, and point-of-sale systems
- Greet and assist overnight guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Prepare and distribute daily financial reports for management review
- Monitor hotel security and safety during overnight hours, escalating issues as needed
- Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk staff to ensure smooth shift transitions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel front desk, night audit, or hospitality operations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) a plus
- Ability to work independently overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Basic math and accounting knowledge required
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
