Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the upkeep and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our properties. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for ensuring our facilities operate smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Manage facilities maintenance teams by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing mentorship to foster a high-performing work environment.
- Oversee the implementation of maintenance repair procedures in accordance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues by interpreting schematics and using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to high voltage, low voltage electrical systems, and industrial maintenance standards.
- Coordinate projects involving mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and electrical system troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in manufacturing or hospitality environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and engineering troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations relevant to facilities management and industrial environments.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management and inventory control.
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to lead teams effectively through clear instructions and feedback.
