Part-Time Pharmacy Technician – Independent Community Pharmacy
Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and qualifications
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week
Required availability: Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

About Curtin Drug
Curtin Drug is a locally owned independent pharmacy serving the Jenks–Glenpool community. We provide traditional retail pharmacy services, customized compounded medications, immunizations, and personal service that allows us to build lasting relationships with our patients.
We are seeking an experienced, dependable pharmacy technician who works well with a team but can also recognize priorities, take initiative, and help optimize workflow without continual direction. This is a long-term part-time opportunity with daytime hours and no late-night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, process, fill, and prepare prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Assist patients in person and by telephone with professionalism and empathy
- Process insurance claims and help resolve routine rejections
- Operate the register and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain prescription files, inventory, supplies, and assigned work areas
- Recognize workflow priorities and move work forward without waiting for repeated direction
- Support the pharmacy’s immunization services
- Assist with stocking, cleaning, and general pharmacy upkeep
- Occasionally make local deliveries or run pharmacy-related errands; mileage is reimbursed
Required qualifications
- Previous retail or community pharmacy technician experience
- Current Oklahoma pharmacy technician permit in good standing
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including every Saturday from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while recognizing when pharmacist involvement is needed
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning pharmacy systems
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small team
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to complete occasional local deliveries or errands
Preferred qualifications
- Current authorization to administer immunizations as a pharmacy technician in Oklahoma
- Experience using PioneerRx
- Interest in a stable, long-term position
