POSITION: Speech & Language Pathologist LOCATION: Greenfield Elementary
SALARY: In Accordance with the BEA CBA POSTING DATE: May 28, 2025

SCHEDULE: .6 FTE - Ten Month Position START DATE: to the district calendar
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Speech and Language Impaired (SB)
Endorsement OR hold appropriate Licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence issued
by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Must have earned a master’s degree in speech and language pathology.
- Competency in the content area of service.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
- Strong communication, technology, and organizational skills.
- Competency in student management and supervision.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete necessary and appropriate evaluations to support recommendations to IEP Teams
relative to eligibility for Special Education.
- Complete necessary and appropriate evaluations to support direct instruction for students
assigned to the caseload of the Speech and Language Pathologist.
- Complete necessary and appropriate case notes to allow completion of required progress
notes, and to support retention and or dismissal of Speech Services to the student.
- Provide necessary direct services for students in the assigned school environment to improve
the speech and language skills of students.
- Prepare NPSP and/or IEPs and instructional goals and objectives for eligible students on the
caseload.
- Participate in NPSP and/or IEP Team meetings.
- Maintain weekly proportionate share service records.
