Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair residential, and commercial electrical systems in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide installation.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other testing equipment to identify faults or inefficiencies.
- Follow strict electrical safety procedures to protect yourself and others during all phases of work, including working on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure precise installation or repair work aligned with project specifications.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements for safe electrical installations.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Hands-on experience working with high-voltage wiring, low voltage systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
- Construction site experience including installation, renovation, or maintenance projects.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety procedures essential for ensuring compliant work practices.
- Skilled in using power tools such as drills, multitools, and saws along with hand tools necessary for precise electrical work.
