Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the auto service department, including scheduling, workflow, and customer interactions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing expert advice on vehicle repairs and maintenance needs
- Write detailed and accurate service estimates using auto estimating software
- Upsell additional services and repairs based on customer needs and vehicle diagnostics
- Oversee service technicians and ensure quality workmanship across various repair areas such as transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, alignment, air brake systems, and auto body repair
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage parts ordering and inventory control
- Train and mentor staff to uphold dealership standards for automotive repair and customer service
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,738.88 - $109,900.59 per year
