We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences for our guests through exceptional service, attentiveness, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing guest expectations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations.
- Assist with food handling and basic food preparation when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Support host/hostess duties during busy periods by managing reservations with OpenTable or similar systems.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess roles demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy are essential.
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; a passion for the food industry is important.
