Job Description
The remote technician is crucial in assisting clients in different industries with troubleshooting computers, servers, and networking equipment (firewalls, wireless access points, router switches, etc.). This position will report to the IT Manager and requires a high level of will, technical skills, documentation skills, and customer service skills, as well as knowing when to apply them to complete jobs successfully and efficiently.
Schedule
Temp to Hire: Up to 40 plus hours per week, 32 during training.
Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM - Mountain Time Zone
12:00-12:30 pm (30-minute lunch)
Remote Work Requirements:
● A quiet work area with no distractions, interruptions, or background noise
● Fast internet is needed to connect with customers.
Education
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related degree is preferred but not required.
- CompTIA A+, Network+ or higher preferred but not required.
IT Experience
- Intermediate to Advanced understanding of computers and networks required.
- 3-5 years of Small to Medium size Businesses (SMB) tech support experience is required.
IT Support
Desktop and Device Support Windows 10/11 and previous versions.

Networking
Intermediate to Advanced Level of Network Experience, including:
- TCP/IP Troubleshooting
- VPN and VLANS
- DHCP / DNS troubleshooting
- Network troubleshooting
Job Requirements
· Be readily available for remote appointments at any time during scheduled hours.
· Complete daily service report (for client service usage).
· Contribute to the planning and implementation of multiple projects.
· Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including actions taken through the final resolution.
· Be available for after-hours or weekend appointments.

o Data migrations after PC Setups
o Email migrations

· Monitoring and managing managed clients' workstations and networks
· Manage, monitor, and test backups
· Weekly maintenance with Patches and Updates
· High time management skills and ability to respond promptly to requests and issues.
· Maintain positive customer relations and provide technical support.
· Proven remote service experience in computer & network support.
· Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
· Must be reliable and punctual.
· Must always be on time or early for appointments.

Term
This position will be on a temp-to-hire period with paid training.
Job Types: Part-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
