Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in a primary care office. The ideal candidate will provide outpatient care in primary care setting.
Duties:
- Perform medical administrative support tasks in a clinic setting.
- Record patient vital signs accurately.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures such as injection administrations, procedures such as flu and Covid test, strep test, blood glucose test, venipunctures, and minor wound dressings.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information on treatments.
- Code and document patient information accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Experience:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Proficiency in anatomy and medical terminology
- Prior experience of atleast 1-2 years in similar settings.
- Knowledge of outpatient clinic operations and procedures.
- Familiarity with patient registration, insurance verification, coding and medical billing practices
