Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Server. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Enter orders into the Aloha POS system
- Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the host stand, dining area, and server stations
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
- Familiarity with food service industry standards and practices
- Exceptional guest relations skills with the ability to provide personalized service
- Proficient phone etiquette when taking reservations or handling inquiries
