Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Floor Supervisor for our Store 5 location in <LOCATION>. This leadership role is vital to ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional customer service, and effective team management. The ideal candidate will possess strong retail management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards
- Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize product presentation
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly with professionalism
- Assist in employee orientation, training & development to foster a skilled and motivated team
- Coordinate purchasing, pricing strategies, and sales promotions to maximize profitability
- Supervise cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and cashiering activities with accuracy
Experience
- Proven supervisory or assistant management experience within a retail environment
- Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory management, and merchandising principles
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across shifts
- Excellent organizational skills coupled with time management proficiency
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with retail math, budgeting, payroll processing, and bookkeeping practices
- Prior experience in grocery or hardware store settings is preferred but not required
