Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Use appropriate chemical agents safely for cleaning and sanitation purposes, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Follow established safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed, reporting larger issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Experience handling chemical agents safely with awareness of chemical handling safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting is a plus.
