Position Description:
Title: Home Manager/Direct Support Professional
Location: Marion, Ohio
Reports to: Program Specialist/Program Director
Compensation Up to $19.00 DOE

Overall responsibilities:
Work in a residential setting assisting individuals served in becoming self-sufficient, self-advocating, self-driven individuals. Oversee a specific home and ensure staff are completing their responsibilities and individuals are receiving quality services.
Detailed responsibilities:
· Assist individuals to achieve and exceed their personal goals based on their individual specific plan.
· Provide structure and create positive peer to peer relationships.
· Assist individuals with personal hygiene including bathing, feeding, dressing, etc.- if needed.
· Complete detailed, accurate documentation as assigned.
· Promote Community Inclusion for the individuals served.
· Help maintains & promote a safe and clean environment for the individuals.
. Have the ability and drive to lead a team.
. Open schedule availability; Including being on call (Only for Home Manager)
. Must have good communication with management.
. Must be able to troubleshoot & direct staff when needed.
. Must be able to be accountable for yourself, job duties, home & staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Management or supervision experience in the field of DD field is preferred but not required.
- Capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with consumers, guardians, staff and other team members.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external team members to positively represent BLESS, LLC.
- Must be reliable, 18 years or older and have proof of High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License & Proof of Auto Insurance.
- Must be able to provide past work references.
- Must be able to work every other weekend.
- Must have open availability for emergencies.
- A driver abstract, and BCI check will be conducted.
