<p>The Assistant Lead position at is often described as the &ldquo;glue that holds each camp together.&rdquo; As an AL you&rsquo;ll support many key components of camp from assisting lead instructors in the classroom to leading outdoor activities to making sure campers get to and from lunch safely. In short, AL&rsquo;s help provide a positive, successful and memorable experience for Camp Me! campers. Along with a passion for working with kids, Camp Me! AL&rsquo;s must have an ability to maintain an excellent work ethic, a high level of energy and enthusiasm.  DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</p>

<div><ul><li>Assist in a designated course or rotate between courses as needed throughout the day and week, working with campers in small groups and one-on-one to help them learn concepts and complete projects.</li>
<li>Work closely with lead instructors and other al&rsquo;s to foster a fun, rewarding and positive learning environment.</li>
<li>Reach out to parents by communicating with them about their child&rsquo;s experience.</li>
<li>Assist in camper check-in and checkout processes with a high level of enthusiasm.</li>
<li>Help facilitate and lead (optional) activities for students during break time.</li>
<li>Provide leadership, energy and camp spirit, constantly assessing group dynamics and the needs of individuals.</li>
<li>Supervise/escort students to, during and from lunch.</li>

</div><div><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p>
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, students and parents.</li>
<li>Experience working with and instructing students ranging from grades K &ndash; 8th grade (preferred).</li>
<li>College experience (at least one year preferred).</li>
<li>Must clear DOJ criminal background check.</li>
<li>CPR/First Aid certification.</li>
</ul>
