Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other appliances safely and efficiently
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
- Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting new pizza options
- Manage food production during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality
- Handle food handling responsibilities with precision, including dough stretching, topping application, and baking
- Maintain proper knife skills for ingredient preparation and ensure adherence to recipe specifications
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, pizza or high-volume production environments
- Strong skills in food preparation, attention to detail
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in product quality
- Familiarity with dietary department standards or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence in a fast-paced environment
