Responsibilities:
- Provide non-medical support and companionship to senior clients
- Perform personal care duties; such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Issue medication reminders and maintain medication schedule
- Conduct grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping duties
- Support the client's mobility needs by assisting with walking and transfers and other physical activities
- Complete household errands and provide the client with transportation to and from appointments. (Not required from all caregivers)
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years to apply
- RELIABILITY A MUST!
- 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
- Active phone where you can be reached, for scheduling purposes
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance and reliable vehicle are required
- Positive, caring and open to learning on a continuous basis, attitude and proven track record of dependability and trust
- Communicate effectively at all times with peers and supervisors
- Self-directed/motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Must comply with all company policies
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience a plus
- CNA license a plus
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
