Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments and destinations.
- Follow all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during local driving routes.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any maintenance needs promptly to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to confirm pick-up times, destinations, and special needs or accommodations.
- Manage GPS navigation systems to efficiently plan routes and avoid delays while adhering to scheduled pick-up times.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading mobility aids or luggage with proper manual handling techniques.
Qualifications
- 21 years or older.
- Clean Driving and Background History.
- Can pass a drug test.
- Must have a reliable, working vehicle that can pass vehicle inspection. Also, must have full coverage insurance at all times.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur driver, or shuttle driver is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to ensure timely arrivals.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively.
- Understanding of medical transportation requirements and client confidentiality standards is MANDATORY.
- Adherence to all traffic regulations, safety protocols, and state transportation laws during daily operations.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and coordination with healthcare providers when necessary.

Pay: $80.00 - $200.00 per day
