Join Our Team as an Audiology Assistant!
Do you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and being part of a team that makes a difference every day? We're looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Audiology Assistant to support our Audiology Department and help provide an outstanding experience for our patients.
In this role, you'll work alongside our audiologists to ensure patients receive exceptional care from the moment they arrive through their hearing healthcare journey. You'll play an important role in patient education, hearing aid services, scheduling, insurance coordination, and keeping our clinic running smoothly.
What You'll Do
As an Audiology Assistant, you'll:
- Welcome patients with a warm, friendly attitude and create a positive first impression.
- Assist with hearing aid cleanings, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and processing repairs when needed.
- Schedule hearing aid fittings, follow-up appointments, cochlear implant visits, and industrial audiology appointments.
- Prepare charts, document patient information accurately, and maintain electronic medical records.
- Coordinate hearing aid inventory, supplies, mailings, and shipments.
- Assist with insurance authorizations, benefit verification, and hearing aid billing processes.
- Answer incoming calls, assist patients with paperwork, and direct questions to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and workspaces.
- Support special projects and continuously look for ways to improve the patient experience.

Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
