We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a secure correctional healthcare setting. Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Schedule: Sunday – Saturday | Rotating Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive health assessments to identify new symptoms, illnesses, or complications
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
Provide restorative, palliative, and supportive nursing care to patients
Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Educate and counsel patients on disease prevention, wellness, and health maintenance
Implement prescribed medical regimens in collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, and other healthcare providers
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection prevention standards, and correctional healthcare protocols
Qualifications
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License and current registration required
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience post-licensure required
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work rotating shifts in a secure correctional environment
Background check required prior to employment
