Metal Fabricator
Top Bead Welding Service, Inc. is looking for a skilled and dependable Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on welding and fabrication experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is willing to learn and operate a variety of fabrication equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as required for various fabrication projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and job specifications.
- Perform cutting, fitting, grinding, drilling, and general metal fabrication.
- Operate automatic press brakes and other fabrication equipment.
- Learn to safely operate and assist with the operation of our laser cutting equipment.
- Measure, inspect, and ensure fabricated parts meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Work with a variety of metals and materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
- Work independently while also being able to communicate and collaborate effectively with the fabrication team.
- Perform other duties related to welding and fabrication as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in metal fabrication and welding required.
- Strong understanding of welding processes, fabrication techniques, and shop safety.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements.
- Experience operating press brakes, shears, saws, or other fabrication equipment is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to take direction and learn.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred / Bonus Experience
- Feed mill industry experience or knowledge is a strong plus.
- Experience with industrial fabrication, millwright work, or equipment installation is a plus.
- Experience operating laser cutting equipment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
