Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry
- Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement clients’ skin tones and preferences
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and proper equipment sterilization
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure satisfaction
- Upsell retail products like nail care items, polishes, and tools to enhance client experience and salon revenue
- Keep current with industry trends in nail art, gel techniques, and new product innovations to deliver fresh looks
- Assist with maintaining a clean work environment by following all sanitation guidelines and disinfection procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel nails, acrylic application, and nail extensions
- Strong understanding of color theory and nail art techniques to create customized designs
- Knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client hygiene practices
- Excellent communication skills to engage clients confidently and build lasting relationships
- Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Cosmetology or esthetician license or certification as required by local regulations
- Experience with retail sales strategies and upselling techniques to promote products effectively
Pay: $16.95 per hour
